Table 2: Coordinated Crests

This table contains crests that reference the devices on the shields or escutcheons with which they are paired, but do not reproduce them exactly. They are loosely grouped from those that share the most with their devices to those that share the least. In general terms, this table contains:

1 crest that has the same field and all and only the charges from the device with which it is paired, but with some or all of the charges missing parts,
1 crest that contains all the field tinctures and all and only the charges from the device with which it is paired, but in a different arrangement,
16 crests that contain all and only the charges from the devices with which they are paired, as they are seen there,
5 crests that contain all and only the charges from the devices with which they are paired, with changes to the orientation of some or all of them,
2 crests that contain all and only the charges from the devices with which they are paired, with changes to the tinctures of some or all of them,
6 crests that contain all and only the charges from the devices with which they are paried, with changes to the numbers of some or all of them,
3 crests that contain all and only the charges from the devices with which they are paried, with changes to the numbers and orientations of some or all of them,
2 crests that contain all and only the charges from the devices with which they are paried, with changes to the numbers and tinctures of some or all of them,
9 crests that contain all and only the charges from the devices with which they are paired, with some or all of them missing parts but otherwise unchanged,
1 crest that contains all and only the charges from the devices with which it is paired, with some or all of them missing parts and with changes to their tinctures,
1 crest that contains only some of the charges from the devices with which it is paired, where those charges are as seen in the device,
1 crest that contains only some of the charges from the device with which it is paired, with changes to the numbers of those charges,
1 crest that contains only some of the charges from the device with which it is paired, with changes to the tinctures of those charges,
2 crests that contain only some of the charges from the devices with which they are paired, with changes to the numbers and tinctures of those charges,
1 crest that consists of a part of a charge other parts of which appear in the device with which it is paired, and
2 crests that consist of charges using the same tinctures and divisions used in the uncharged fields of the devices with which they are paired.

The basic structure of crests shaped like fans or hats and decorative elements like feathers, fringe, and tassels were ignored in the compilation of the above list.
